I have been commissioned by hotly tipped band Citadels to produce visuals for their UK tour. Their music is wonderful spacey pop comparable to Flaming Lips or MGMT (in fact one of them played with MGMT at one stage) and I wanted to create something a bit special for them rather than just recording a straight VJ set. I spent a week with damaged VCRs and video feedback loosening myself up but in the end most of this stuff ended up on (whatever the laptop equivalent is of ) the cutting room floor. I'm really proud of how it has come on, here is a sneak preview of the chunk ive produced for their song 'Animals'. There are more pieces on my Vimeo page, do have a look.
