I've been trying to find a way use video glitching live for a while. These images were all created on the fly by running a deliberately corrupted avi through resolume, when you move quickly to a new area of the video the image is smeared over the previous creaing all sorts of warped FX. The effect reminds me of an etch a sketch being shook. Im then sampling this mess live and reprocessing. Soundtracked my a max/msp dirge I found amongst my old improv stuff
